Random Dumb Stuff

Just some random things I have been thinking about lately. ----I have watched last comic standing a few times this season. Holy shit! Are these people serious? So fuckin bad. It makes me so angry when people aren't funny and waste my time. Makes you appreciate the funny comics out there.-----We don't look to hang up on callers, but sometimes there is just no hope for some of these people. We want people to call and contribute, but if you are sooooo fuckin dumb you can't even use the phone... what's left? Makes you appreciate the good callers.---- I think back to when I first started in radio and was doing an actual "On Air" shift, introducing songs and "saying killer killer rock and roll" and it makes me so happy I knew that one day I would be part of an actual show where I would be able to throw in smart ass comments and have fun on the air. Makes you appreciate not goin to college.

Very Cool

So, if you were listening to the show you know my car was making noise like this "ggg#++rrr***@$%!!!" and that ain't good. Well it's fixed thanks to Paul a cool listener that owns Charlotte Harbor Imports in Port Charlotte. I don't know anything about cars, but Paul does and he is a good, honest guy. Charlton Heston died on April 5th. He was 84. So subtract that from 100 and I get 16 points. No Fatty MaGoo for me

It's Easter Sunday. Today I've had a V8, a salad, protien shake, chicken breast and corn... one more shake later. Just got back from the gym. Run/walk on the treadmill and did chest and back with weights. Meanwhile Dinah is chowin down on Easter dinner at her parents house and I don't think she has worked out yet. In fact her "trainer" stood her up the other day. Next week I step it up to 2 a days for cardio. I know you guys would rather see Dinah in a bikini than me shirtless ... me too.

Irish

So it's Wednesday. We have the in studio audience Thursday and then Friday we leave for Dublin. Looking forward to having our first afternoon in studio party. Although I'm pretty sure we are gonna have to crank the A/C down. A lot of heat with that many people in a small room. I reland is gonna be a blast. Adding our friend Bert to the mix is gonna make it even more fun then last time. Been stayin busy, which is good. Some interesting things on the horizon ... stay tuned.

You guys gotta get on Cowhead and Moose and let em know we have blogs on here. Anyways. Van Halen was awsome. Sounded great. Will we have to wait another 24 years? Just got back from Jim's Harley Davidson. Thanks to everyone that stopped by. Mike I hope you dig your new bike. Jim's was great. They got me a cake and a cool Harley shirt for my 1 year anniversary. Thanks to everyone for being so cool to me this last year with the show. Looking forward to Rubonia Sunday. Hope to see evryone there and drinks some Budweiser beers with you.

On this day Wed, Feb 13th I predict that Micheal John (the Austrailian kid that auditioned in San Diego) will be the winner of American Idol season 7. In fact I am giving the Galvin guarantee. What if...

What if before the UFC fights they made each guy eat a large pizza and chug 2 pitchers of beer. Then when they fought they would get punched in the belly and throw up. And then they had to keep fighting. Throw up would be slippery. This ... and many other reasons is why they don't let me invent new sports. Think about it.

Just some of the things that are gonna be happening in the future I am looking forward to ... goin to Vegas for my brothers bachelor party Superbowl weekend, Dunedin Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday Feb 5th, Bonecrunch Fighting Feb 9th in Sarasota, live show at the fair Feb 15th with the Cowhead Show Frat House, Van Halen Feb 18th, Rubonia Mardi Gras parade with Budweiser Feb 24th, maybe goin back to Vegas for Bubbapalooza March 1st, goin to Ireland with Jameson Irish Whiskey and our good friend Bert Kreischer for St. Patty's Day... and then?

Roy Jones Jr.

So I had a choice to watch the UFC 80 PPV or watch the Trinidad vs Jones PPV. Normally I would go with UFC, but I really wanted to see the Trinadad vs Jones fight, and crazy heavy weight Andrew Golota was on the undercard. So that's the one I watched. Jones won by decision. Scored 2 knock downs. One in the 7th and one in the 10th. He looked really good. So, this time I picked boxing, but for UFC 81, which is Brock Lesnar's UFC debut, I will actually be in Las Vegas ... hopefully somewhere in the stands.

How's it going?

So things have been goin really well. The move to the afternoon has been great. I think this year is gonna be huge. Thanks for all your support ... listeners that have been there, and the new ones that have found us. Only like 59 more days until the show goes to Ireland for St. Patrick's Day ... and this time Bert is gonna be there too. Holy shit! That's gonna be wild. Make sure you get your tickets for "Rockers, Racks, & Rejects Extraveganza" at Ruth Eckerd Hall Feb 1st ... it's gonna be big time.

Suit Up!

Wow! Just got back from Mr. Man in the University Mall. P.J. & Tony are great. If you need a suit go there and get it. Very Cool guys. I needed a suit for my announcing gig for Bonecrunch Fighting happening at The Lakeland Center Saturday Jan 12th. I walked into Mr. Man and there was Bubba in there gettin set up for Vegas. We talked for a bit while he was getting his stuff done. Then Bubba did something really cool for me ... he actually bought my suit for me. How cool was that? I'll tell how cool ... very cool. So thanks again Bubba, that was totally unexpected and very cool of you. Go see P.J. & Tony at Mr. Man ... and Suit Up!

Football

Fuuuuuck! Damn it. Steelers lost to the Jags. So close to winning in awesome comeback fashion. Big Ben is a great quarterback most of the time, but please never run the ball again. Big and slow is not how it goes. Now I guess we'll see what happens with the Bucs. I'd like to see them win, especially over the Giants and stupid weird eyes Eli Manning. See you guys Monday ... oh, if you haven't heard, we'll be doin afternoons now 3 to 7pm.

My first blog of '08

Where are our flying cars? Didn't you think by 2008 we'd all be flying around? Oh well, only 2 more days of mornings the on January 7th we move the show to afternoons. Gonna be weird being able to go out after work. My brother's bachelor party is getting closer. A bunch of us are going out to Vegas ... should be interesting. Maybe we'll get a blackjack table for the studio. Speaking of gambling over Christmas vacation I went back home and got a scratch off ticket and $500, which was awesome. Then ... the next day my brother got one, and won $500. Luck of the Irish. Gotta go walk Cooper (my dog). Is anyone else on the show posting new blogs?
